Unless noted otherwise, all electronic test equipment is guaranteed to be in good working order for 30 days, and there is a 10 day right of refusal.
First send us an email to obtain RMA number.
If you return an email order item under the 10 day right of refusal you pay for shipping, packaging, and insurance cost to return the item to us. When item is returned in good condition with the RMA number we provided we will refund you the price of the item. We refund the price of the returned equipment but we do not refund the shipping, packaging and insurance cost. i.e. If you return an item you pay for the shipping, packaging and insurance cost for that item both ways - when we originally shipped it to you and when you shipped it back to us - and this cost is not refunded to you.
First send us an email that describes the problem with the unit and requests an RMA number.
If you return a email order item under the '30 day warranty' you pay for the shipping, packaging, and insurance cost to return the item to us. When we receive the email order item in good condition with the RMA number we provided you, we will ship you a replacement item if we have one in stock. We pay for the shipping, packaging, and insurance to ship the replacement item to you.
If we have no replacement items in stock, we will refund the price of the returned equipment but we do not refund the shipping, packaging and insurance cost. i.e. If you return an item you pay for the shipping, packaging and insurance cost for that item both ways - when we originally shipped it to you and when you ship it back to us - and this cost is not refunded to you.
Returned equipment must be packaged securely, with at least 2 inches of bubble pack or other good filler between item and each side of the box. RMA number must be included with item returned. Ship returns to us using the same carrier we used to ship the item to you. i.e. If we shipped the item using FEDEX then please ship the item back using FEDEX. If we shipped the item using Canada/US post then please ship the item using Canada/US post. If return is shipped back via FEDEX then check "hold for pickup" under "delivery/handling instructions" on your FEDEX shipping form. Returned item must be insured for its full price. You pay the cost of returning an item back to us.
If equipment is found damaged when you receive it, keep all packaging materials, notify us by email. We ship all items insured for it's full price with FEDEX or Canada/US post.
BEFORE returning any email order merchandise to us, email us to obtain an RMA number authorizing you to return the unit to us. Provide the following information in your email:
The 10 day right of refusal and the 30 day warranty will be void and Systems will not accept a return if SMS Systems inspects the returned unit and has determined that the customer has opened the unit's case without authorization from SMS Systems or if the returned unit has been damaged due to improper handling, abuse or neglect on the part of the customer.
